- Any activity apart from cooking Woman need a man to aid them with.
- How to be a perfect housewife.
- That British Women appear innocent but are secretly sexually available. 
- How Women can appeal to me.

- The target audience are mothers 30-45+
- Woman in the 60s may have obtained the ideology of the housewife character.
- Woman may have challenged the messages of this magazine influencing the Woman's liberation           movement. 
- Women my feel they need to follow the advice from the magazine to be a 'Woman'.

- Anchors Women and manipulate them to follow a certain lifestyle.

- Establishes power between men and women - patriarchal hegemony.
- Structures society so men can have more powder.
- Makes it easy for the producer to construct an audience.
- Financial reasons.
- Creates a binary opposition between men and woman and a simplify world view.
