Attitude online - examples of how it targets its audience.
Attitude target audience- "Gay men, working class, aged 25 - 50, aspirational, interested in holidays, fashion and the theatre, and with a larger expendable income than average"

- This article suggestst that gay men have the time nad money to be able to travel and take part in expensive activities like the spa.
- This targets working class men as its not an overall super luxurious surreal thing to do.
- This targets men aged 25-50 as younger men wont see the appeal in going to a spa.
- This targets men who like holidays and travels as this advertises staying in a hotel and going to the country.
- This targets gay men with larger expendable money as it advertises going to a country club which arent cheap places to go as well as a spa which isnt cheap yet targets gay men as its more of fminine activity to take part in.
- This presents a hyperreal representation of what gay men couples should look like.
- They are stereotypically 'gay' as the models aren't muscular, they are over dramatic with facial expressions, the environemnt and their outits are very clean suggesting they take pride in their apperance and the rose is a very dramatic gesture.
- The men also appear veryfeminine as they are clean shaven and dont appear to have any hair on their arms.

- The mise en scene of the white buildings and clear sky background suggests this photo was taken aborad in a sunny destination. This appeals to the target audience as stereotypical gay men like to travel.
- The lexis in the title included the word 'queerness' which is a made up word yet sugessts how queer someone is targets the audiences as stereotypical gay men are meant to be over dramatic and queer.
- The models in this photo are wearing colourful and dramatic clothing which would appeal to the target audience as stereotypically gay men are into fashion. Cowboys are also stereotypically gay so this would appeal to gay audeince. The models cowboy outfits are atypical and could be described as queer wich would again appeal to younger gay me who are aspirational.
- The lexis in the photo mentions 'royal ballet' which the word 'royal' connotes expensive and eccentric as well as ballet is a more 'posh' thing to watch. This would appeal to gay men as they have larger expandable incomes.
