Tom Daley's cover has strong sexual connotations and it presents a hyperreal body image of gay men as well as what gay men desire. Another image is of Prince william which targets the more excentric and sophisticateds sterotype of gay man. Then theres Zachary Quinto's cover which is has theatrical connotations with the arty makeup appealing to the stereotypical dramatic/theater loving gay men.
  • The lexis also appeals to the stereotypical gay adueinces with stating Auttitude magazine is 'the gay bible' suggesting all gay men need this in their lives as its a guide for gay men. The stereotypical gay audeince would appeal to this as simple gay men like anthing gay as wellas the term 'gay bible' is something a stereotypical camp person woud say.
  • In 2005 and 2012 it won mens magazine editor of the year award.
  • This magazine states it's audience is professional gay men in their 20s and 30s. They are financially prosperous withearning higher than the national average. They are most likey to buy and engage in the latest technology. They invest in products and services to prode themselves as trendsetters. Their large income allows them to make multiple purchases in music, art, entertainmnt, travel and socialising. They are loyal to brands that speak to them through gay press. Lastly, they take pride in their apperance and regularly indulge in premium goods ect.
