Curren & Seaton argued that the media industries are solely motivated by the acquisition of profit and the procurement of power. To what extent does Attitude Online conform to this practice? Attitude online only exists as a promtion for the physical magazine therefore it's aiming to influence its audience into buying the mgazine and mazimising readership. By Stream buying Attitude it allows for multimedia integration as Attitude online is now being cross promoted on Streams site which gives Attitude more exposure. Digitalising Attitude allows for a larger distribution of its ideologies which further leads to its power of influencing audiences worldwide which further leads to profit. Counter argue that accessing and reading articles on Attitude online is free therefore they gain no profit.
